Can the Airmasters Air Knife be used with the Blower?
No, Airmaster Air Knife is a compressed air type of Air Knife and not a blower type air knife. Blowers cannot be used for compressed air Air knives. The Source of air should be a compressor.
How much Pressure should be provided for Airmasters Air Knife?
The minimum pressure required for the Airmasters Air Knife is 5.5 Kg/cm2 or 5.5 Bars.
What is the material of construction of the Airmasters Air knife?
Airmasters Air Knife comes in three materials, namely Aluminium, SS304 and SS316L. The shim inside the Air knife is of SS316L material.
Can I give the inlet connection to the Airmasters Air knife from the side of the Air Knife?
The Airmasters Air knife has inlet connection option on both back and on the side.
Can I control the output flow coming from the Air knife?
You can set the pressure according to your requirement. The flow of air is directly proportional to the output air from the air knife. If you provide less pressure the output air will have less velocity. If you increase the pressure of the air, then the velocity of the output air will increase.
How much pressure drop is expected from the Air Knife?
A minimal pressure drop of 0.2 to 0.5 bars is seen in the Airmasters Air knife.
